The Little Prince knows best..

If you have never read this book, do so as soon as possible. It is amazingly inspirational. It's filed as a children's book, but the meaning behind many of the things, such as the above stated quote, are so deep that it will inspire you.

This particular quote is my all time favorite. I don't think it could have been said any better by Mr. Saint-Exupery himself. The world is clouded by our vague opinions. We rely too much on apperances. Attraction, of any kind, is based souly on your looks in today's world. I had a friend tell me the other day that she found this new band she knew she would like because the lead singer was "hot." Now, if anyone can answer this question for me, please do, but how does a persons looks effect their musical talents? The same in relationships, how does ones apperance effect how one may act? I have seen many a time a person who is completely amazing and wonderful being passed by because they aren't the most attractive person in the world. Or, you may pass up an amazing opportunity to do something you've always wanted to because you're scared of what others may think.
In the end, we all end up the same. Follow your heart, people. Life's too short to be concerned with visual asthetics and it's way too much work to keep up apperances.
